How do I delete duplicates from my lists?
To delete duplicates, you’ll first need to see exactly how many duplicated email addresses your list contain. (The same email address in multiple lists counts as multiple contacts, not unique contacts. Please note that an email address will not be added twice to the same list.)
1. Go to Dashboard>>Contacts and click Show all contacts.
2. Click Advanced search and select specific lists to review and delete contacts from.
3. On the Search contacts page, sort the results by email. (Scroll down to select how many contacts you’d like to see displayed on a page.)
Take a closer look at the column with emails. Since email addresses are sorted, you can see which ones are added to multiple lists. Your next actions will depend on the number of duplicated emails and if it’s not time-consuming to remove them manually.
4. Confirm you want to delete the contacts from lists.
You can also export your list of contacts from a list you want to use as a source list, then go to Contacts>>List hygiene and click the Delete contacts button. There, choose the list from which you want to have them deleted, paste in the emails you want to delete, and click the Delete button.
